The Portrait Masters Awards and Accreditation Program | NP Photography

I am just over the moon and so excited to have received two Bronze awards from the Portrait Masters competition!

I was so hesitant about entering and it was in the last hour that I decided to submit 3 images into the competition. When I took these images, I never had an inkling that I would submit them into a competition. I was simply doing what I normally do for my clients - providing them with the best images I can produce for them so that they will be cherished by them and passed down as heirloom objects for their family.

The Portrait Masters Awards and Accreditation program is an international based program. In this round, over 4,000 images were judged by a panel of experts in the field, all international highly respected photographers.

Each expert gave out points to each image based on the technical such as, composition, focus, lighting and artistic skill exhibited within the photo. By achieving an award it means your images are of a ‘High Professional Standard’.

I feel blessed that all the hard work of educating myself in the field of photography and always working to ensure my clients receive the best images possible which they can cherish forever has allowed me to become an award winning photographer. If I take anything from this award, it is that one should always believe in themselves, as when you put hard work and effort into something it always pays off positively.

I am a Maternity, Newborn and Family photographer based in Woodbridge, Vaughan, Ontario. The Bronze awards I received were in the Newborn Category. I can’t wait to let my clients know that their images received an international award!
